New Year, New Me

Dear old (past) me,

I know that we make mistakes all the time intentionally or not. And sometimes those mistakes we make are big that make us really think about it all the time, that also make our conscience active. And little ones that sometimes we can’t realize it but sooner or later we think about it all the time.

I had made many mistakes in the past and also learned and realized about it. And we know that mistakes and problems when being faced and solved, it makes us stronger to face other problems.

So now that we opened the curtains for the New Year 2014, I must become stronger than before; think better than before and do more things than before. This will be the new me of this new year 2014. And become better for the future.

Going Global Through English

Communication is very important for us to connect with one another, and we do this by letters, sign language, codes, words, speeches and others. But most importantly for us to communicate better we must be in the same table, we must be in the same type of language for us to connect.

We have been studying the English subject as one of our basic subject. And English is the most used language we use to communicate with other people in other country. Like here in our country we use Tagalog to communicate with others who live in other places in our country.

Also English is the Global language, which means this is the language that is recognized by the world and is now the most widely used language in the world with its different kinds. So with the use of this we can connect to the other people in the world .

Essence of Christmas

December 25 is the day of birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Here we rejoice his birth and celebrate Christmas day. But what is Christmas all about?

Christmas is the time for giving, sharing and helping other people who are in need or to someone special to your heart. This is not the time to think about what you will get or what they will give to you on that day. This is the day we think about the meaning of what they give us and about what we can do for the other people to make them happy.

Christmas, we remember the situation of the day of birth of Jesus and by that moment, we thank God. We thank God that we have and we are with our family together and happy. We thank Him that we didn’t experience the tragedy in Tacloban.

And we must always remember that Christmas is for all; right or poor, we can celebrate it, simple or special, we can make it. As long as we are with our love one and we have the spirit of Christmas, and we know the true meaning of it.

Equal rights equal opportunity

Equality is the thing we all want to have. We want to be treated good like those people who do less than us. Equality is for all, but so hard to get.

We are all created by the likeness of God. He created us equally, He loved us equally, He think of us equally

Over all we are all equal in His heart and eyes. But why is that, that God, who we can't see is the only one who thinks that we are all equal? It is true that we have division among us; there are rich and there are poor, there are people who are in need and there are people who have it all. But we still need to understand that we are all human that living in this planet. We might not have it all of what we want, we are still  a creation of God.

Like those Negro people, they always pray to God all mighty. They pray that they should not be treated like they have a very deadly disease. They also want to live like they white people that can have other jobs, they could finish school, have beautiful homes and not be treated like trash.

Even if we are different from the others, we have that power to make a difference and have the power to make a move, we have EQUAL RIGHTS and OPPORTUNITY because we are all children of God. And He love us equally.

We can make a move!

Do you notice that now we experience a rapid change of session? Why is that? What does it mean?
Well, this is what we call "Climate Change", which refers to any significant change in the measures of climate lasting for an extended period of time. In other words, climate change includes major changes in temperature, precipitation, or wind patterns, among other effects, that occur over several decades or longer.
There are a number of natural factors or causes responsible for climate change. Some of the more prominent ones are continental drift, volcanoes, ocean currents, the earth's tilt, and comets and meteorites.
Global warming do you also feel this? Global warming refers to the recent and ongoing rise in global average temperature near earth's surface. It is caused mostly by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Global warming is causing climate patterns to change. However, global warming itself represents only one aspects of climate change.
Fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas supply most of the energy needed to run vehicles, generate electricity for industries, households, etc.. the energy sector is responsible for about 3/4 of the carbon dioxide- is undoubtedly, the most important greenhouse gas in the atmosphere-emissions. 1/5 of the methane-important greenhouse gas in the atmosphere- emissions. And a large quantity of nitrous oxide. It also produces nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide which are not greenhouse gases but do have an influence on he chemical cycle in the atmosphere that produce or destroy greenhouse effect that can also lead to global warming to climate change.
And with this change of our climate we can still make a move. And with this move we protect the climate, reduce air pollution also save money. We can make a move by making a few small changes in our home like, changing a light bulb, powering down electronics, using less water, etc. reduces gas emissions and save you money. Burning gasoline and other fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide and contributes to climate change. Take action to reduce your vehicle emissions, reduce the nation's dependence on oil and save money. There are other ways to protect the climate so let's explore and do it today.

MY TEACHER MY HERO

Teachers are really wonderful people; they take care of us when we are in school which is our second home. Here, they take care of us like we are their own, teach us for the better of our future.
They teach us so that we become smart and not be left out by the others, guide us and give us advice when we fell troubled. And that are some reasons we call them HEROES.
Teachers take care of us like their own, that’s true, but they also take care of us like their friends. They treat us like their BARKADA and BEST FRIENDS. They share their stories that they encountered in their life and we might be encountering in our lives and give some tips for us to solve it and become stronger like they did.
Those are our teachers, they don’t just teach us but also they guide us and give us advices that can help us in the future.

"I AM BORN IN THE LAND WHERE MODERN DAY HEROES LIVE."

"I AM BORN IN THE LAND WHERE MODERN DAY HEROES LIVE."
Here in our modern days, we also have our modern heroes. But really, what is a hero?
When I was child, I thought heroes were just people with super powers like Superman, Darna, Captain Barbell, Elasticman and other heroes that can be seen in television. And based in the dictionary hero is a mythological or legendary figure often of divine descent endowed with great strength or ability.
But base from my understandings now, we are all heroes because we help others, especially when they are in danger. We help them with no exchange or payment. We help them by giving them our support. We help them by believing in them and with what we do. We help them because we want them to not give up and we want to be with them and guide them ‘till they can be on their own.
That is why we are heroes, and in this modern day, we are the MODERN DAY HEROES.
